Pricing
Merchandise will be invoiced at the prices in effect on the day of shipment, and prices are subject to change without notice. Minimum opening order is $300.00. Minimum reorder is $100.00. Orders under $100.00 will be shipped with a $10.00 service charge.

Less than full case quantities are available at slightly higher cost for those items that have a shippable inner pack.

Inventory Availability
Quantities available may differ between time order is placed and time of shipment.

Payment Terms
Payment terms are net 30 days from invoice date with established credit. Without established credit, we will accept prepayment, credit card (Visa or Master Card only) or COD. (Note: On COD shipments, freight carriers charge COD fees).

Checks should be made payable to: M. Block & Sons, Inc.

1 ½% service charge per month will be added to all past due accounts.

Freight Terms
Terms of shipment are F.O.B. our warehouse in Bedford Park, Illinois. Unless a specific carrier is requested, shipments are made via the most economical carrier. Freight charges are collect.

For UPS shipments: Freight charges will be added to the invoice.

For Common Carrier shipments: the carrier will collect freight charges at time of delivery. Shipments will be forwarded at a released value not exceeding $.90 per pound unless you request in writing to ship at a higher released value or at the actual value. The requested class and release value must be specified on the order.

Breakages and Shortages
All goods are shipped at the buyer’s risk and all claims for damages or shortages must be filed against the originating carrier. Refusal to accept merchandise from the carrier does not alter terms of the sale.

Returns/Refused Shipments
Returns will not be accepted without prior written or verbal authorization. No exceptions will be made to this condition. Credit will not be issued for unauthorized returns or refused shipments. We will not accept responsibility for any charges resulting from unauthorized return.

Add-Ons
Add-ons to an existing order already in house will be accepted, but once initiated, the order may lose its position in the shipping queue. Once an order ships, an ‘add-on’ is considered a new order and subject to normal terms.

Back Orders
In your best interest, the decision concerning back orders must be yours. For your own protection against excessive freight costs, we will automatically cancel all back orders under $50.00 in value, unless you specify otherwise. For back orders over $50.00, we will forward a letter indicating the items that have not shipped. If signed and returned, this letter will activate your back order, which will ship when merchandise becomes available.
